In a nutshell
A Slice of my Life is my take on two teenagers, one husband and a whole slew of critters. Life around here is never boring!
Shaun (also referred to as my Beloved): Computer Nerd, WoW Geek and all around Nice Guy. (although sometimes I have to wonder if he's really just a 12 year old boy trapped in a 40 something year old man's body)
Kt-The Teenager: Our oldest daughter, college student, vegan, volunteer, high achiever with a goofy side.
Mimi-The Feisty Redhead: Still our baby girl, high school junior, Drama Queen, artistic and culinary inclined.
And then there’s me, Susan The one who adores them all! I hope you enjoy all the antics that go on in our little slice of the web.

Day 5-Williamsburg and Jamestown
I really enjoyed Colonial Williamsburg. I really could have used more time here! We were divided into three groups and each given a knowledgable guide to help us navigate through the town. Williamsburg claims to be the largest living museum … Continue reading

Wednesday (otherwise known as Day 3)
Once again, we had our tummies full and were on the bus bright and early. (Some dedicated souls had gotten up extra early and walked over to the nearby Starbucks to get their fix). We took a quick swing past … Continue reading

It's still Day Two!
After the Senate Building, we took a short walk over to the Supreme Court. We had to wait in the lobby for half an hour or so for the next docent session to start. There was a guard who took … Continue reading
