Home Sweet Home

Look Ma…two blog entries in one day! I forgot to mention where we will be staying in my previous post.

After my brother and I both got married and moved to other states, my parents did the Happy Dance and then decided that they would rent out our family home (so we couldn’t move back in with our broods) and start living the life of gypsies.  So for the last five years or so they have been living in an RV, wandering here and there, wherever the road takes them.  (Usually it takes them up to us, but I’m willing to bet that they’ll be spending a lot of time with my brother now that they have new grandbabies)

Anyways there’s not a lot of room for us.  The suggestion that we just stay with friends was ignored.  We were ordered to bring a tent….and a mattress if we wanted a little padding.  Sigh…

So, here is where we will be staying.  At least KT is happy to be sleeping near one of her beloved palm trees!

  1. Oh Wow – Camping!!!! Not my favorite way to sleep at night but “yes” you do have the Palm tree! Room service available from the folks?

  2. Three of you in there? Close quarters! Have a great time with your girls and parents, sounds like a great trip already.

Well, I bet that is fun. Or not. I’ve actually never gone camping. At least the weather in San Diego is always pretty nice. Do they live in an RV park when they are not on the road? Or when you want to visit them do you just have to catch up to them? haha

Wow, that’s dedication to seeing the folks. At least there’s a bathroom close! Aren’t you?

Sigh. Husband and I used to camp in Baja EVERY YEAR. Until baby. As soon as we think baby is ready, we’ll be bringing him along.

Until then, I live vicariously. Keep posting!
