As part of NaBloPoMo, I’ve also signed up for
Everyday I will write down something I’m thankful for.
Today I’m thankful for always being able to count on Shaun to tell it like it is. My first post in a few days and he emails me the link to it along with *snore*. Apparently it wasn’t very interesting to him. (I guess the honeymoon is over now!) Then he went on to tell me I could redeem myself if I made two posts in one day…after all, I had “9 hours, 59 minutes and 15 seconds left in the day…”
Yep, I’m thankful for his brutal honesty! (really)
There’s plenty to be thankful for so type away. Good luck burning the midnight oil. Looking forward to reading the Pearls you will post.
Now that’s a nice NaNoWriMo activity. It would do a lot of good to realize what we are thankful for.
I could use a little more honest, I think. Maybe.
Two posts in one day? Be careful you don’t waste all your words! haha…
I’m trying to conserve my words to last me all of NaBloPoMo and NaNoWriMo, but uh…I don’t know how to do that…conserve words I mean…I-can’t-stop-typing…ack! 😉
30 days of thanks sounds a nice thing to do.
I should do 30 days of thanks. Maybe I will do it in your comments….I am thankful that I already have the upstairs cleaned and only have the downstairs left to do. The in-laws are on their way….yay 🙂
Ah yes. Brutal honesty. I always ask for it, but then I have a tendency to get all defensive when said honesty is given. Until, of course, I take a step away from the situation and realize that yes, the statement was true.
hmm brutal honest… grateful or slapful….
have fun;)
Hi! Honesty rocks.
Hoop once asked me what I thought of his work outfit. He was wearing brown shoes, brown pants, a brown belt, and a brown shirt. I told him he looked like a Hershey bar.
Yep, it is great to know someone can be honest out there..for sure!!
Congratulations on commiting to 30 days of thanks. Honesty is a useful but sometimes rare commodity.
If I want an honest answer I usually ask a child.
I like your 30 days of thanks idea.
If this is the place to to be thankful, then I am first of all thankfull for that! Nextly, I am thankful to the Universe for making a teacher appear when I most needed it.
Interesting project. Yes you do have a lot to be thankful for ;p
Right (write) before I came to your blog I signed up for NaBloPoMo and then wrote on my blog that two posts in one day could make up for a missed day, how weird was that! I already missed November 1. but I posted twice today so it’s ok!
I like your spin on it.
Sue~Pearls? Thanks! lol
Kell~It seemed like a good idea…after all, it is almost Thanksgiving and I’m related to a pilgrim of sorts.
Karina~I decided not to do the WriMo one…too much going on this month.
Chris~I thought so (although we’ll see in a week or so)
Beckie~do I detect a little sarcasm there????
Zee~In all honestly, that’s pretty much where I am.
Wolfy~Slapful? LOL
Nora Bee~Well…sometimes…
Tink~As in yummy???
Caz~Yep…although I have trained him to be careful with his timing…
MJD~thanks
Gawilli~Oh yes…painfully honest!
Linda~One usually gets what they need.
Mel~Yes, I do!
J-funk~I like how you rationalize it! It’s not really my idea. There are a zillion different little groups on the main site. I just like the idea of this one a lot.
well that’s cool i’m doing a thanks thing on my own. neat.
I think that Shaun should post in the comment section on each and everyone of your posts during the month of November.
