In a nutshell
A Slice of my Life is my take on two teenagers, one husband and a whole slew of critters. Life around here is never boring!
Shaun (also referred to as my Beloved): Computer Nerd, WoW Geek and all around Nice Guy. (although sometimes I have to wonder if he's really just a 12 year old boy trapped in a 40 something year old man's body)
Kt-The Teenager: Our oldest daughter, college student, vegan, volunteer, high achiever with a goofy side.
Mimi-The Feisty Redhead: Still our baby girl, high school junior, Drama Queen, artistic and culinary inclined.
And then there’s me, Susan The one who adores them all! I hope you enjoy all the antics that go on in our little slice of the web.

Lost in the Monster Closet
When we first moved into our house, we were fascinated by the tiny little closet that had been built under our staircase. It looked like a normal closet door, but when you opened it, the room was long, narrow and … Continue reading

It's Uncle Ricky!
My baby brother has always been a bit of a goof. (Ohhhh the stories I could tell!) One of his strange quirks is to call and pretend he is somebody else. We always know that if a strongly accented cowboy … Continue reading
