In a nutshell
A Slice of my Life is my take on two teenagers, one husband and a whole slew of critters. Life around here is never boring!
Shaun (also referred to as my Beloved): Computer Nerd, WoW Geek and all around Nice Guy. (although sometimes I have to wonder if he's really just a 12 year old boy trapped in a 40 something year old man's body)
Kt-The Teenager: Our oldest daughter, college student, vegan, volunteer, high achiever with a goofy side.
Mimi-The Feisty Redhead: Still our baby girl, high school junior, Drama Queen, artistic and culinary inclined.
And then there’s me, Susan The one who adores them all! I hope you enjoy all the antics that go on in our little slice of the web.

Eat Your Fork!
Over the weekend, Shaun and I stopped in our local grocery store to pick up some items for an impromptu picnic. (Aww…how romantic!) On our way out the door, I stopped to get some plastic forks. As I grabbed them … Continue reading

For The Love of Worms
This post is dedicated to my dad on Father’s Day because he once forced me to hold (in my hand!) a worm. He had hoped to cure me of my acute Verminophobia, but merely succeeded in making it worse. It’s … Continue reading

If it weren't for Larry…
It’s really isn’t a big secret that I’ve been a teensy eensy tiny bit jealous of Shaun’s Big Orange Jeep. It’s not that I’ve really wanted a big off-roading vehicle or anything like that. It’s just been…well…hard to see Shaun … Continue reading

I made it myself! Fun Monday
For this week’s Fun Monday, Karisma, has asked us to show something that we have made ourselves. Hmmmm…. So, I looked around to see what I had created in our home. The first thing that I saw was this big … Continue reading
