Sometimes I forget things…

Like the pumpkin seeds from our Jack-O-Lantern.

I washed them and put them in the oven so that I could have them ready to roast the next day.  Then promptly forgot all about them.

I never grew a pumpkin before…

Well, something similar has happened in my house – well, it is forgotten pumpkin . .. I roasted a small pumpkin to make pumpkin bars (recipe on my blog) and then forgot/ haven’t had time to make the bars.

Now I’ve got a food processor full of old pumpkin puree that needs to go straight into the outside bin! Ick!

When I do things like this, I just pretend that I was conducting my own science experiment.

So that’s what that stuff was! I was a thinken it was some sort of wonderful vegan concoction, waiting for the rest of the ingredients to be added! But then when I mentioned it to kt and got a nasty glare, I figured you were going to take it to preschool glass for show and tell! Hee Hee

Wait, are you saying you haven’t opened your oven since Halloween? That is so funny. I’d go plant those puppies!
