In a nutshell
A Slice of my Life is my take on two teenagers, one husband and a whole slew of critters. Life around here is never boring!
Shaun (also referred to as my Beloved): Computer Nerd, WoW Geek and all around Nice Guy. (although sometimes I have to wonder if he's really just a 12 year old boy trapped in a 40 something year old man's body)
Kt-The Teenager: Our oldest daughter, college student, vegan, volunteer, high achiever with a goofy side.
Mimi-The Feisty Redhead: Still our baby girl, high school junior, Drama Queen, artistic and culinary inclined.
And then there’s me, Susan The one who adores them all! I hope you enjoy all the antics that go on in our little slice of the web.

At a Girl’s Night Out about a month of so ago, one of my friends mentioned that one of the airlines had just slashed it’s prices. The next day, it sunk in on me what she had said and I … Continue reading
When I wrote “Go to an outdoor concert” on my Summer List, I was thinking about one of the Music In The Park series put on by most towns. I had forgotten that Shaun had bought us tickets for Jethro … Continue reading
I was sitting impatiently patiently next to the pharmacy in our grocery store, waiting for a prescription that should have been ready when I got there. To curb my annoyance and occupy myself, I took out my handy-dandy phone and … Continue reading
Summer has finally hit Seattle! In celebration, I’m making a list (isn’t that the first thing that you think of for happy events?) of things I want to do this summer. In full disclosure, I have to admit that this … Continue reading
The problem with making an announcement that you are ready to start blogging, is that you have to actually blog! That’s also a good thing, because I think I have a wee bit of “stage fright” and all those wonderful … Continue reading
