In a nutshell
A Slice of my Life is my take on two teenagers, one husband and a whole slew of critters. Life around here is never boring!
Shaun (also referred to as my Beloved): Computer Nerd, WoW Geek and all around Nice Guy. (although sometimes I have to wonder if he's really just a 12 year old boy trapped in a 40 something year old man's body)
Kt-The Teenager: Our oldest daughter, college student, vegan, volunteer, high achiever with a goofy side.
Mimi-The Feisty Redhead: Still our baby girl, high school junior, Drama Queen, artistic and culinary inclined.
And then there’s me, Susan The one who adores them all! I hope you enjoy all the antics that go on in our little slice of the web.

Shortly after I posted my story about last year’s New Year’s Resolution, you know, the one about how it took me an entire year to make a simple apron, Shaun started asking me what my resolution for this year was … Continue reading
Shaun came home from work and we sat chatting about everything and nothing for a few minutes. Then he asked me if I had blogged yet. I gave him one of those sideway looks that told him that I thought … Continue reading
Shaun and I were out running errands this afternoon. He was listening to the classic rock station and giving me a mini-lesson about some obscure band that I was largely ignoring. We came to a stop light and he turned … Continue reading
I’ve heard it said many times that those high school years are the best of your life. I have no idea who actually believes that. Most people would say those years were okay, and some would say that it was … Continue reading
