In a nutshell
A Slice of my Life is my take on two teenagers, one husband and a whole slew of critters. Life around here is never boring!
Shaun (also referred to as my Beloved): Computer Nerd, WoW Geek and all around Nice Guy. (although sometimes I have to wonder if he's really just a 12 year old boy trapped in a 40 something year old man's body)
Kt-The Teenager: Our oldest daughter, college student, vegan, volunteer, high achiever with a goofy side.
Mimi-The Feisty Redhead: Still our baby girl, high school junior, Drama Queen, artistic and culinary inclined.
And then there’s me, Susan The one who adores them all! I hope you enjoy all the antics that go on in our little slice of the web.

Mimi’s New Adventure

It Ain’t Nothin’ Like Mama’s
One of Mimi’s favorite foods is beans. She gobbles them down in any shape or form (Which can make life rather…um…aromatic…at times) Her most favorite beans, however, are my World(ish) Famous Baked Beans. As I was preparing to make a … Continue reading

Hiding Out In The Monster Closet
Vacations are a lot of fun, but let’s face it, they are also a lot of hard work. From the anticipation, the packing, and the endless driving to the disruption of routine, unpacking and loads of smelly laundry. I was … Continue reading
