In a nutshell
A Slice of my Life is my take on two teenagers, one husband and a whole slew of critters. Life around here is never boring!
Shaun (also referred to as my Beloved): Computer Nerd, WoW Geek and all around Nice Guy. (although sometimes I have to wonder if he's really just a 12 year old boy trapped in a 40 something year old man's body)
Kt-The Teenager: Our oldest daughter, college student, vegan, volunteer, high achiever with a goofy side.
Mimi-The Feisty Redhead: Still our baby girl, high school junior, Drama Queen, artistic and culinary inclined.
And then there’s me, Susan The one who adores them all! I hope you enjoy all the antics that go on in our little slice of the web.

Thankful Memories
Over dinner last night, I mentioned that I felt so bad for Thanksgiving as it is a forgotten holiday. My family wasn’t buying into my thoughts about November’s holiday. Everyone knows about Thanksgiving and everyone loves to enjoy a feast … Continue reading

My Grand-Turtle Terry

Memories To Be Thankful For
Early this morning, when all the house was still asleep, I started procrastinating searching for Important Things on the internet. I accidently found myself doing a little bit of blog-hopping when I came across a post that touched me deeply. … Continue reading

Talkin’ Turkey
I’ve always felt really bad for Thanksgiving. The poor little holiday that’s tucked in between the candy-fest of Halloween and the chaos of Christmas. I think our Canadian neighbors have the right idea celebrating in October. I’m fairly certain the … Continue reading
