In a nutshell
A Slice of my Life is my take on two teenagers, one husband and a whole slew of critters. Life around here is never boring!
Shaun (also referred to as my Beloved): Computer Nerd, WoW Geek and all around Nice Guy. (although sometimes I have to wonder if he's really just a 12 year old boy trapped in a 40 something year old man's body)
Kt-The Teenager: Our oldest daughter, college student, vegan, volunteer, high achiever with a goofy side.
Mimi-The Feisty Redhead: Still our baby girl, high school junior, Drama Queen, artistic and culinary inclined.
And then there’s me, Susan The one who adores them all! I hope you enjoy all the antics that go on in our little slice of the web.

Thankful Memories

The Wonderful Lily

Flying Cars and Popcorn Balls
Shortly before Christmas, my oldest daughter Kaitie sadly informed me that my gift from her was going to be late. As one who has been the recipient of such treasures as beautifully crafted macaroni necklaces and meticulously painted rocks, waiting … Continue reading

The Spaghetti Slurpers
Last night at dinner, Mimi gathered up a fork full of spaghetti noodles and started bringing them towards her mouth. Halfway there, she abruptly stopped and carefully picked up one sauce laden noodle. As the pasta dangled in midair . … Continue reading
